A low-budget crime re-enactment series on the Discovery Channel. Fun fact: During my year of unemployment after moving to San Francisco, I got paid $125 to be an extra in an episode filmed on Treasure Island, and I am visible in two scenes. The director even gave me a brief speaking role, but it got cut.
Shows that had to work around an actress’ real life pregnancy (and how they dealt with it)
Friends - Courtney Cox. concealed with a combination of camouflage clothing and camera angles
Cheers - Shelley Long. Lots of behind-the-bar shifts, and most notably, she spent an entire episode in the heating vent beneath the floor.
Angel - Charisma Carpenter. Her pregnancy was initially hidden, then she got possessed and wore long cloaks, then her character got pregnant in the storyline and she gave birth to Vincent Kartheiser.

Spaced - Jessica Stevenson. Concealed with baggy clothing. She’s noticeably thinner (and dresses more revealingly) in the second season.

Moonlighting - Cybill Shepherd. Filmed around her absences, which didn’t work, and helped to end the series.
