Joyce Whitman, star of _Undercover Woman_ on _The Betty White Show_ Not to be confused with two earlier TV shows with the same title, this was produced by MTM and aired on CBS in 1977. It featured Betty White as Joyce Whitman, the star of _Undercover Woman_ (which was itself a parody of _‘Police Woman’_), and was suicidally scheduled against ABC’s _Monday Night Football_ and NBC’s _Monday Night Movie_. It ran for fourteen weeks, and the only reason it lasted that long, I assume. is that CBS left it there as a sacrificial lamb rather than throw something else up there to _ **also** _ get murdered by MNF. _ **-“BB”-** _ ---

He and the Aerocar also turned up and was flown in 1963’s _Beach Party_, the first of the ‘Frankie and Annette’ beach-party movies produced by American Pictures International. _ **-“BB”-** _ [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/tv-binge-watch-part-2/972711.md?page=13) [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/tv-binge-watch-part-2/972711.md?page=15)
