Petticoat Junction The title was also somewhat of a misnomer … the stop wasn’t even a junction, where two railroads (or two branches of the same railroad) meet – it was a water stop that just happened to be convenient to the hotel. _ **-“BB”-** _ ---

Isn’t “guiding” in _Guiding Light_ a participle, not a gerund? or is it a double-entendre, like Judging Amy, where “judging” is a participle in one sense, but a gerund in the other. ---

A gerund is the noun version of a verb ending in -ing. Guide (noun or verb), guiding (gerund). Looks good to me. Your turn RivkahChiya. ---
