**Spin-offs that tanked** 1. AfterMASH 2. The Tortellis 3. The Golden Palace The Golden Girls (minus Dorothy) purchase and try to operate an old Art Deco-style hotel in Miami. Since they know nothing about running a hotel, they more or less leave things in the hands of the existing manager and the cook (played by Don Cheadle and Cheech Marin). _ **-“BB”-** _ ---
