**ABC Movies of the Week** 1. Short Walk to Daylight 2. Duel (1971) 3. Trilogy of Terror 4. Go Ask Alice 5. The Over-The-Hill Gang 6. Satan’s School for Girls (1973) Produced by Aaron Spelling, it is considered by many to be one of the most memorable television movies of the Seventies. _ **-“BB”-** _ ---

The Over-The-Hill Gang Rides Again 9. Planet Earth Many of the movies that appeared on the program were pilots that lead to successful series (_The Six Million Dollar Man_, _The Love Boat_), while others like this failed to launch. On a personal note, _Planet Earth_ referred to men as “dinks”, which girls at my grade school took to calling all boys with great amusement. ---

Brian’s Song 8. The Over-The-Hill Gang Rides Again 9. Planet Earth 10. One of My Wives is Missing The “movie of the week” I’m thinking of is the 1976 version with Jack Klugman, Elizabeth Ashley, & James Franciscus. There is a later US TV version with Mike Farrell, Margot Kidder & Elliot Gould, that is really just as good-- its title is _Vanishing Act,_ but it is very close to the other film, which is also a stage play, and a French film, under yet different titles. NEXT: **Shows with great titles** (quality of show notwithstanding) 1. _Masterpiece Theater_ ---
