**Famous actors who you have only heard of** 1. **Benny Hill** - I am told this is a very famous and excellent English comedian. He must be a bit before my time, for I can’t put a face to him and have no recollection of seeing any of his media. 2. **Garrick Utley** - I have heard of him but I haven’t seen his work. Regarding **Natasha Lyonne** , two of hers that I remember: _But I’m a Cheerleader_, and _Detroit Rock City_. Both comedies, and they are funny. The former has her as a lesbian sent for “re-education”; the latter is a tribute to the band Kiss, and Lyonne plays a disco queen. ---

Lillian Gish was in a few made-for-TV movies and appeared on several TV shows, so should be eligible. I don’t think Norma Shearer (the first on this list) was ever in a made-for-TV production. ---

Starred in movies beginning in the silent film days with a career spanning decades.
