A guy named Mike Lally has second billing with 27 episodes, playing a different character in every one, mostly uncredited. This can be a detective-heavy category. William Conrad was in 120 episodes of Cannon and the next most is a mere 7 appearances by Patrick Culliton, who had a different role in each. ---

**TV shows with one leading role** 1. The Joy of Painting 2. Columbo 3. Cannon 4. Kung Fu David Carradine appeared as Caine, a lone Shaolin monk wandering the American West, in all 63 episodes. There was a second actor (Radames Pera) who played the young Caine and appeared in 48 episodes, along with Keye Luke (who portrayed Master Po, Caine’s teacher and mentor), but since these actors usually appeared in flashbacks to Caine’s days of learning the Shaolin way, I don’t think they count as ‘co-stars’. _ **-“BB”-** _ ---

William Conrad was in 120 episodes of Cannon and the next most is a mere 7 appearances by Patrick Culliton, who had a different role in each. I was concerned it would be heavy on talk show hosts or news anchors. This is an unexpected turn. Let’s let it play out. (In play) **TV shows with one leading role** 1. The Joy of Painting 2.
