She was at DeKalb Corn Fest one year with her kids while filming a movie in the area. I was there with a friend who also had a little kid and we kept ending up behind Pfeiffer and whoever was with her on rides. We made no attempt to talk to her.
I was an extra in two scenes of the episode “Reunion” of “Kung Fu: The Legend Continues” (fimed 1992, aired 1993). Carradine and I were in one of the scenes where they flash back to the shaolin temple.
Think “Canada’s version of Walter Cronkite or Dan Rather,” as he anchored CTV’s national newscast every night. He was the inspiration for SCTV’s Joe Flaherty’s newscaster character, “Floyd Robertson.”
Saw him at a jazz festival in Unionville, Ontario.
‘Gopher’ from The Love Boat – this was after the show ended. He was serving as a representative from Iowa in the House of Representatives, and made an appearance at on the bicycle ride across Iowa (RAGBRAI) in the early 1990s.
And yes, I did get his autograph.
