Was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on everything from plants to languages to Pacific Island tribal rites and customs, and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fabricate out of vines, bamboo, and coconuts – but he couldn’t figure out how to repair the boat (or build another one).

-“BB”-

He was also pretty consistently a dick to everybody. Very flawed!

  1. Cardigan - Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood

(Going out on a bit of limb here. Hope this works. @'ing the poster is optional, in case we don’t want to actually summon them here.)

  4. Bicycle_Bill - Tenspeed and Brownshoe

It does? That’s news to me.

-“BB”-

Well, Tenspeed got his nickname 'cause he rode a bike.

But Tenspeed’s name is not Bicycle Bill, it is E.L. “Tenspeed” Turner. We’re looking for the connection of a specific username to a tv show. I can’t find a Bicycle Bill in television, though it seems like there ought to be one.

Very well. I took “represents” to mean giving some leeway.

Elendil and his son Isildur both appear on the show, although I picked my username long before it began.

In honor of Labor Day: working stiffs on TV

  1. Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason), The Honeymooners
  2. Mike O’Rourke (Michael Keaton), Working Stiffs

Had to post that, given the category wording. It was a very bad show that was pulled after 4 episodes. Keaton and Jim Belushi played janitor brothers/roommates/coworkers before they were famous.
