I was considering posting this as my initial entry. Performed by the Barenaked Ladies, a Canadian group of my youth.

To my knowledge, the “Then Came You” I quoted is not a pop song previously recorded but was created by someone working on the show. It does happen to share a title (whether intentionally or not) with a pop song by Dionne Warwicke, but it is not the same song.
