TV Binge Watch (Part 2)

Shows you liked for a while (multiple seasons) but eventually got tired of and gave up on

  1. Supernatural
  2. Family Guy
  3. The Simpsons
  4. The Expanse

I loved the first three seasons. Season four began a new story arc, in a new location, and it quickly lost my interest.

  1. Supernatural
  2. Family Guy
  3. The Simpsons
  4. The Expanse
  5. The 100

I really liked the first few seasons, but after a while seeing the heroes struggle and barely manage get their head above water only to be fucked over again even worse got depressing. (same reason I gave up reading game of thrones around book 3). Also the science got a little beyond my ability to suspend disbelief (how does hundred year old nuclear fallout suddenly start causing acid rain that instantly burns people caught in it but doesn’t seem affect the surrounding vegetation?)

  3. The Simpsons
  4. The Expanse
  5. The 100
  6. Doctor Who

Been a fan of the old series since it was still on the air. The revival has included some truly classic Who, but a combination of Moffat fatigue and the writing fall-off with Jodie Whittaker (who I like) wore me down. I watched the latest David Tennant specials but that’s been it for me.

  6. Doctor Who
  7. NCIS

I watched it for 19 seasons. I’d been a little tired of it for a while, and I tried to watch S20 (the first one without Gibbs) but finally I just tired of it enough. Normally if I’m that invested I’ll watch the whole thing (like I did with Supernatural), but I just…couldn’t anymore. Partly because of Gibbs, and partly because I always found Abby to be super annoying and the replacement character (Kasie) was equally as annoying.

  8. Get Smart

Once Max and 99 married and had twins I lost interest.

  9. The Walking Dead

I thought it was great but after four seasons it just got depressing, same old same old.

I loved the show but I never knew that.

You mean to say you missed it by that much?

Niiice.

But I’ll probably go back to it someday.

Pass.

You should. I did and was not disappointed.
