Who was it?? (Turns out it was a teen Basement Ghost, but it took us a few episodes to get there.)

  10. “Ides of March” penultimate episode of season 4, Xena, Warrior Princess

The writers were very mean, as this is the episode where Gabrielle and Xena get crucified, and look very dead at the end of the episode. Everyone knows that IRL, Lucy Lawless is pregnant, so even though a 5th season has been promised, we don’t know what will happened (they once replaced LL with a different actress for an episode when LL broke her pelvis, but Xena came back from the dead once before; we also know Xena will have future lives as other people, and there’s fan speculation of a season of flash-back where she is pregnant with her son Solan; so really, anything is possible).

Everyone tunes in for the final season 4 episode, and it’s a stupid flash-forward to the 20th century (or maybe the 21st), and everyone is playing someone else. We still have no idea what will happen, or even if that is the end of the show-- maybe just the end as we know it, or what.

Everyone I knew was so pissed, we were all swearing not to watch if it did come back. We all, did, of course.
