Laverne and Shirley - In the (2 part) episode We’re in the Army Now, the girls don’t get a promotion at work, so they quit and join the army, where they meet their drill sergeant played by Vicki Lawrence. Hilarity ensues.
The Many Loves of Dobie Gilliis – ‘I Didn’t Raise My Boy to be a Soldier, Sailor, or Marine’ (S2,E23) – Dobie and Maynard enlist in the army, but Maynard goes AWOL when it’s time to board the bus. Dobie talks Chatsworth Osborne into standing in for Maynard, with the predictable results.

There’s a Partridge Family where Danny gets a draft notice, and after several back and forths with the military, Ruben & Shirley determine the easiest course is for him to show up for induction. He gets DXed of course, but not for being 10 years old, nope–for not making the minimum height.

Sergeant Bletchler (who everybody mispronounces as “Belcher”) is in charge, and does the “drop and give me twenty” routine every time his name is mispronounced. The nurse lieutenant who takes vitals outranks him, orders him to drop and give twenty, and ends up with Fonzie. Heyyyy!
