When the theme song says “an uncharted desert isle,” does it mean that people were there once and deserted it, or does it refer to its annual rainfall? Not a snark-- honestly asking, because I never knew when I listened to it.

    one episode scared the crap out of me when I was six. took me 40 years to find it again, and was surprised at 1) the cheesiness and 2) the low production values. Not that scary, either. But shit, did it terrify me at six.

Not sure why you’re asking me, since SunUp posted it, but I’ll have a go. Desert in this somewhat archaic sense means an uninhabited, wild place and has nothing to do with the presence of fresh water. Uncharted, of course, just means it ain’t on the map.
