# TV characters that use cell phones?

Chuck always uses his iphone.

Like others mentioned, they are very necessary in 24. I think Jack used one to remotely blow up a bomb that some terrorist was wearing.

Gossip Girl, of course! That’s the only show I watch where kids use their cell phones just about as much as they do in real life.

I noticed during reruns of Noght Court that Dan Fielding used a cell phone during the last season or two. He made routine use of it, it wasn’t like “look at me, I’m so important I need one of these,” even though it was around 1991 or 1992 when they weren’t ubiquitous as they are today.
