It wasn’t funny or worth watching, but there was a tv series called According to Jim which featured Jim Belushi as your generic joke telling fatso slob married to Courtney Thorne Smith, a fetching blonde woman. It made no sense. ---

The only episode in which Debra is a harpy is the PMS episode. Other than that, what you refer to as harpiness is a normal person’s reasonable reactions to the insanity surrounding her. ---

Ann Kelsey and Stuart Markowitz. A viewer could plausibly argue that a nebbish like Stuart would never be able to attract a fox like Ann. Except that the two actors were actually married (to each other) in real life. ---
