I’ve finally figured out who it is that I had a giant crush on that was mentioned in some thread a long time ago, but I couldn’t think of his name, and I didn’t want to go revive a thread to say this. [John Ratzenberger](http://eur.yimg.com/i/xp/premier_photo/d/d7cdb4eb7a.jpg) is the guy! I’m now combing the internet for his phone number so that I can remedy that situation. So I suppose this thread is to vocalize crushes you have on obscure TV personalities. ---

Are we talking actors or their roles? Because all my television crushes are more on the character than the person playing them. If the latter, mine are… 1. Willow Rosenberg as played by Alyson Hannigan 2. Xander Harris as played by Nicholas Brendon 3. Hoban Washburn as played by Alan Tudyk …and while they’re not particularly obscure considering the bent of this board, they are cultish to the population at large. The particularly astute might even notice a pattern. ---

TV crushes? Man, so many really rude jokes I could go with… In two totally different directions… Instead, I’ll give a real answer: that Mercury girl. You know… the girl in the Mercury ads? The ads selling Mercury vehicles, that tall, nice looking spokeswoman…? She’s hot. ---

The more obscure ones… hmmm… I’ve several “main character” ones (Chandler from _Friends_ being perhaps forefront), but… Norman (David Garrison) from _It’s Your Move_ (and of course Jason Bateman from any show) Almanzo from _Little House on the Prairie_ (one of TV’s all time great booties- big, firm, very spankable with a CB Antenna) Mr. Roark from _Fantasy Island_ (Ricardo, not Malcolm) Jon from _CHIPS_ (Estrada always struck me as vain and sleazy, but Jon seemed like the nice guy who’d be really hot in private) Bernard (Chris’s black half-brother) from _Northern Exposure_ ---

I had a huge crush on tv’s Batman, Adam West. My aunt’s mother managed to get an autographed photo of him and I had it with me every night when I watched the show. These were the reruns in the 70’s. I was born in '69. I also had a huge crush on Steve “Deitrich” Landesburg from Barney Miller. Oh, and Erick Estrada! And who can forget John Schneider as Bo Duke? If cartoons count then Speed Racer and Hank from D&D are on my list. Of course when I was very little I had a mad crush on one of the main characters on The Lone Ranger. Yup. I wanted to marry…Silver. :smack: What can I say? Little girls like horses. I was a twisted child… ---
