# TV/movie skills you didn't know you had

Until the recent episode of \*Big Bang Theory, \*I had no idea that I had a talent for Tuvan throat singing. Well, not \*authentic \*Tuvan throat singing, but I can do what Sheldon did.

Have you ever discovered previously unknown talents you’ve seen on a tv show, movie, etc.?

After I learned about it, I myself also found out I’m pretty good at (mimicing) a certain style of Tuvan throat-singing…as well as imitating Popeye’s speaking voice. As Billy West has pointed out numerous times, Tuvan throat-singing is very close to Popeye’s speaking voice.

I never actually COULD blow milk out of my tear ducts when I saw it on Letterman’s Stupid Human Tricks. But I definitely remember seeing it.

Then, one day not too long ago, I blew my nose and water shot out of my tear ducts. Now it happens every time I blow my nose.

The first thing I thought of when I learned I could shoot things out of my tear ducts was Stupid Human Tricks. I haven’t gotten up the courage yet to suck milk into my nose and shoot it out of my eyes into a glass…but I would never have even contemplated it had it not been for Letterman. Huzzah!
