> I disagree with the OP on Veronica Mars, though. Sure, Logan was often an asshole, but he was an asshole with heart. I bought their relationship as that of two deeply wounded people who couldn’t get past their brokenness.

The problem for me isn’t that he’s broken, it’s that he’s axe-crazy. His beating of whatshisname–Veronica’s non-psychotic boyfriend was way, _way_ beyond tv-show vengeful boyfriend behavior. You just know that in a few years, they’ll be vacationing in a hotel and Logan will fill reams of pages of paper with “ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKE LOGAN A DULL BOY” before chopping down her door. He’s a loaded gun ready to go off.

That was when he thought that Piz had made a sexy-time video and shared it with various douchebros, right? Yes, over the top, but I can see lots of people reacting that way.

He’s definitely fucked up. I would be too if my dad murdered my girlfriend, my mom committed suicide, my best friend’s little brother killed himself, I were framed for a murder I didn’t commit….

Hell, they simply didn’t have the balls to go for the obvious connection: Seven and Janeway. And I say that as someone who finds lesbian sex scenes dull as ditchwater. That Seven was in love with Janeway was pretty damn obvious; she, Seven, just didn’t understand her feelings.

I thought Veronica and Logan had great chemistry, and I really enjoyed watching the writers trying to figure out how to redeem him (after the paid ‘bum’ fights). Sorry. They were hot together.

Yes. And I am glad the big quarterback omniverous omnisexual lesbian orthopedic surgeon is finally taking a hike. The endless endless fighting with the blonde with one leg - enough! It ain’t working! Split up!..though I’ve read none of the relationships on Greys Anatomy are very good because they spent all of their formative dating-and-courting years in med school, and are acting on sexual feelings without knowing how to form real relationships. (Christina and the surgeon-boss - they could screw till the cows came home but on a date in a restaurant! Crickets! lol.)

That dork with that stuck-up rich bitch?

I watched a lot of TV I wouldn't otherwise have watched when I was in the hospital, and FRIENDS wasn't that bad, except when the plot of the episode revolved around Ross & Rachel's relationship.

I DO agree, however, that they WERE ON A BREAK!

Ooh–I just thought of another. Excluding the first season, Smallville: Lana and Clark. Hell, Lex and Clark made a better couple. Lana just sucked.

ETA: Dammit, Mr. Dibble beat me to it!

Despite the final episodes, Tony Nelson would have to be some kind of gay to resist Jeannie’s advances.

It’s why ( or a big reason ) I quit reading the books. Sookie was one of the biggest Mary Sue’s I’ve seen in recent literature. Her milkshake brought all the boys to the yard and she was just the bestest, sexiest thing going. I know the book series was popular, but IMHO they never rose above journeyman-level at their best and just got worse and worse with each new volume.

I think that would be an interesting reveal if there is ever a reboot of the series. It turns out Tony Nelson is gay, and in a long term closeted relationship with Roger Healy, and Jeannie has to find other … avenues … to release her sexuality.

Maybe the writers can juggle the timeline so Nelson and Healy go through the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” phase of military service, and finally come out and get married as a series finale or something.

Uh, sorry for screwing up my spoiler tag. Hopefully nobody’s too bothered by a spoiler for a decade-old TV show.
