# TV-sets emiting "blue" light when looking into windows

hi there,
I always wondered why - when looking at night into windows where TV-sets are on you always see those rooms lighted in a blue hue, **independent** of the color of the color displayed on the screen (e.g. green for a football transmission)
what’s going on here?

was my Q. unclear (no native speaker) … or didnt anybody come up with an answer (or an educated guess)
