I dream of Jeanie.
“May I make you feel better master?”
I dream of Jeanie.
“May I make you feel better master?”
On the rare occasions I have dreams like that and remember them, a few minutes’ sober analysis makes me realize the idea makes no sense at all. If I thought it was funny while I was dreaming, it was because I was dreaming, and that has a similar warping effect on your perceptions as doing a lot of drugs.
I remember a vague dream of the Six Million Dollar Man/Bionic Woman, Knight Rider, and Airwolf franchises combining to form a superhero team. No plot, just the vibe of a mini-organization along the lines of S.H.I.E.L.D. or G.I. JOE.
BTW, I’ve recently dreamt a disneyfied Forrest Gump…Goofy as Forrest, Donald as Lt. Dan, Micky as Bubba :(, and minor characters from other disney/PIXAR movies…plus some cameos from Loony Tunes, Tom &Jerry, Pink Panther, Woody Woodpecker.
:dubious:
A bloody, dying Mickey crying in despair "I wanna go home… "*

Lieutenant M’ress as a character in the new Star Trek.
Too bad the copyright fees would be prohibitive, I’d love to see this as a regular series.

Yo!
Niles went to Yale.
Penis and penis! What is penis!? ![]()
Not exactly, no.
Four letters, rhymes with “Spock.”
“Oh, Master, I will shake my boobs for you!”
“Aha, Jeannie, not in front of Dr Bellows!” :o
I had a great one last night, likely inspired by playing Watch Dogs: Legion before bed. A shady outfit reactivated a super-soldier project which had been dormant for decades but they either had incomplete records or took a shortcut by starting with teenagers rather than embryos, possibly both. This created fatal side-effects.
Twelfth Doctor and I found at least one of the earlier super-soldiers – played by Sylvester Stallone – still alive but in hiding, working in a bowling alley; we enlisted his help with taking down the new players.
As long as we’re reviving an old property, I remember watching the movie Sneakers back in the early nineties and thinking it would be a great premise for a TV series. (On a separate note, they could still do it with most of the original cast. Robert Redford, Sidney Poitier, Ben Kingsley, Dan Aykroyd, Mary McDonnell, and David Strathairn are all still alive almost thirty years later. Ironically, it’s the youngest cast member, River Phoenix, who has died.)
Speaking of zombies, Peter Clines’ Ex-Heroes series would be great on Netflix or HBO. Superheroes in a zombie apocalypse.
I’ve had a recurring(!) dream where I discover that there was somehow a season 8 of Buffy that I hadn’t heard of and I try to find all of the episodes on eMule.
When I was tiny child (4 or 5) I remember dreaming an entire fake Ritz Brothers movie. Why the Ritz Brothers? I didn’t even like them as a child.
But, yeah, I often dream with “plots,” and upon awakening realize they were completely stupid. But they’re entertaining while you’re asleep, and I enjoy them a lot. I just finished reading Margaret Atwood’s MaddAdam trilogy, and the settings, characters and situations were so vivid, I had a lot of dreams that “rhymed” with the books. Sad that I’m done now!
I’ve dreamed more than once that I watched a “prequel” version of Gilligan’s Island based on early concepts of the show before it was finalized as a comedy vehicle for Bob Denver.
An episode of Knight Rider titled “Death Race”: an attempt to link Michael Knight and K.I.T.T. together via cybernetic link results in Michael having a bizarre dream/nightmare/out of body experience where he and K.I.T.T. have to race for their lives against a demonic foe through a surrealistic hellscape.
A crossover episode between L&O: SVU and Castle where detectives Beckett and Benson find themselves in each other’s version of NYC.
