> Shortly after the _Look Who’s Talking_ series premiered there came a series called [Baby Talk](http://imdb.com/title/tt0101041/), a sitcom with the premise of a single mom and her baby whose inner dialogue is voiced by a celebrity. (Julia Duffy was the original star but was replaced after a few episodes by Mary Page “Kiss of Death” Keller, the woman brought in to assassinate quite a few bad series in the 80s and 90s.)

Baby Talk was actually an approved spinoff of Look Who’s Talking.

And I swore I watched it because April O’Neil from TMNT II was the mom, but the IMDB (and you) say otherwise.

Damn faulty memory.

_Xena_ looks to be inspred by _Red Sonja_ by way of _The Bride Wore White_ and a little _Supercop_ (Note: the Supercop refered to was Michelle Yeoh’s character, NOT Jackie Chan)

> Also I may be imagining it, but wasn’t there at least one “chop suey western” predating _Kung Fu_?

**Red Sun** predated it by a year; it was a Charles Bronson western featuring a Japanese samurai.
