TV shows that went through major change and remained good?

Actually, I haven’t seen “Five Faces of Darkness” since it came out, but I’d love to see it again. I have pretty fond memories of it being all dark and mature, and I wonder if I would still enjoy it now. To this day, I still love the movie, although I was let down when I saw “Return of Optimus Prime” and “Rebirth” back when I was in college.

It’s still on?

Yes, indeedy. Consult your local listings, as they say.

(Bolding mine)

If you’re talking about John Henson then it’s “Skunk Boy” not “Rat Boy”, he was by far my favorite! He’s the host who got me to start watching that show, he was hilarious! I wish I had a copy of each show he did during the week of his hunger strike to get Dustin Hoffman to guest.

Sadly, owing to my lack of cable TV, consulting my local listings would be a pointless exercise.

Actually, it’s now called The Soup, and has expanded from just clips from reality and talk shows to pop culture and current events. The latest host is Joel McHale, who played Hutch, “The Asshole”, in the first season of Joe Schmoe. It’s a much better version of Best Week Ever.

How about ER? Like Law & Order, they have been through many cast changes, but it’s still good.

Miranda Richardson as Queen Elizabeth gives me memory problems too. Such bad luck!

-Joe, hey that sounds just like F-

Though it’s venue and story lines remained fairly constant, I thought the final 2 years of Hill St Blues were superior to the 1st 2 years - Due mainly to the introduction of the Norman Buntz character played by Dennis Franz.

Yuck. I gave up on it two seasons ago. Three?
