Shelby Bush wrote a really sweet parody of the Andy Griffith show, set just after Don Knotts left the series, and before Sheriff Andy married Helen Crump. Opie loses his virginity to a girl his own age, so there is nothing to squick anyone, unless you believe that nobody under 18 ever has sex. The scene with Barney and Thelma Lou is downright touching.
