**Mad Money** I’m tired of Jim Cramer, but it is on at work. CNBC is my default channel during the week, so I’m likely to run into the show at home as well. I often workout with a friend in my apt complex. Unfortunately, he usually turns the gym tv to VH1 when they’re showing reruns of bad reality shows. ---

Well, frankly I do like everybody on the show except for Bones (well, and some of the more minor characters. And Sweets.), who’s just written completely ridiculously. (Remember how she’s supposed to be a _writer?_ A _fiction_ writer? Yeah.) If it weren’t for the main character and the awful stupid no-good plots it would be a good show. I wouldn’t be embarrassed to watch a show about Cam and Booth and Angela and Hodgins. ---

_Battlestar Galactica_ did this to me simply because I had to find out what it was all about, even though the last season was a mess that was far from pleasant to endure. After the finale that gave us God did it. I was thrilled it was over and I didn’t have to watch it any more. I so didn’t bother with the special “from the Cylons’ point of view” and haven’t been near _Caprica_. Egads no. I watched the first 4 or 5 episodes of _Chase_ trying to decide if I liked it. Came down with too intolerable. Nothing currently stands is the “don’t like but still watch” category. I have enough stuff to watch that I end up deleting those unwatched, and if I do that I decide it isn’t worth taping them in the first place. ---

Once, when I was bed-ridden, I watched a marathon run of ‘What Not to Wear’ and realized that I am actually capable of truly loathing a woman I have never met. I hate everything about that disgusting commercial for capitalism at its veryvery worst disguised as a show. ---

I was doing that with Lie To Me. I liked it at first and was DVRing and watching it by rote, but I finally just cancelled it. I like Tim Roth, but the show sucks. ---

I have no idea why I keep watching _Desperate Housewives_. Once upon a time it was good but the last few years the show has become almost unwatchable unless I fast forward half of it. ---

But I’m not enjoying DH this year very much. All the storylines are so stupid. Just how often do hunky handymen show up at the door, much less those willing to nail you after a long dry spell??? I’d like to see Susan getting so down and out she’s working at the corner gas station selling scratchoffs and packs of Kools, but that’s just wishful thinking. And I loathe Vanessa Williams. Sometimes I find myself watching Swamp Loggers on the Discovery Channel for a bit, being too lazy to find the remote. It’s remarkably boring. It’s like they’re trying to duplicate The Deadliest Catch (often rather tedious itself) with trees and mud instead of crab pots and 50 foot waves. They should have some nice music to perk it up. Maybe a couple of banjos. ---

HGTV. The entire network is the same three shows with different titles - one about room makeovers, another about staging a house for sale and the third about sprucing up your yard. Wait, make that four, I forgot about the house buying shows. But for some reason, whenever I stumble across it, I have to finish the show. What is so fascinating about neutral paint colors and half-assed art projects? I really wish i knew. ---

**Warehouse 13**. I know it has its fans here, but I really don’t think it is very good, despite the promising premise. It needs to be much edgier, far less predictable and much, much better written. Yet some of the characters have a certain dopey appeal and the premise does promise, so I sort of keep plugging along, thinking I’ll pull the plug on it, but never quite doing so. The last series I recall having a similar reaction to was **Tru Calling**. Just not that good. Yet I watched all of it ( partly because people kept telling me it got better - filthy liars ). ---

My sweetie likes 2.5 Men for some reason, and it’s on at least an hour every day. I…don’t hate it. But I’d never turn to it on purpose. It’s just…not that horrible. \>.\< Or maybe it’s finally rotted my brain, I dunno. ---
