being a serious jazz fan, my choices are pretty skewed - except for one. the WKRP theme occupies a special place in my heart because i was in radio during the years the show was on the air. Peter Gunn Route 66 Mission Impossible The Mike Hammer theme - actually Harlem Nocturne, written by the inestimable Earl Hagen WKRP in Cincinnatti ---

I completely forgot to cast an enthusiastic vote for [The Green Hornet!](http://youtube.com/watch?v=uuoNLnrPlFM) Doesn’t have words but you gotta give it up for that horn playing! It must be every trumpeter’s nightmare, the first time they attempt the theme from _The Green Hornet_. ---
