**Monk** just traded in it’s Emmy-winning first season theme song for a really disjointed and unsingable downer by Randy Newman. Everyone on the IMDB message board (including me) loves the old one and hates the new one.

I think _The Rockford Files_ had the greatest theme song in TV History.

Battlestar Galactica_ (don’t laugh…the show was cheesy, but that opening music was good stuff)
_Picket Fences_
Bad Theme Songs:
_The Practice_ (I like the show, but can’t stand this theme song)
_Growing Pains_ (the initial version of the theme song was likeable, but then it got re-done in the later seasons, and it sounded dreadful)
_Enterprise_ (outstanding visuals, but they need to drop the lyrics, quick)

Snooooopy - agreed **Hawaii Five-O** - best TV theme of all time.
Here’s an obscure one - the original theme to **“Hardcastle and McCormack”**. (They changed it for a while but luckily changed it back).
Bad Theme
“Cheers” - kind of bland - and with time it gets more annoying.

I used to like the TV theme song to Early Edition. Then they changed it.
