# Tweet linked to another tweet with same text

Lately I keep seeing a tweet that has text but the end is cutoff but it has a link to another tweet with the full text. Is this new or did I somehow miss it before?

I rarely use twitter, but I know they did recently increase the character limit to 280, but not for everybody, everywhere, so that may explain what you’re seeing.

Or it could be a normal twitter thing I’ve never encountered (not really into the whole retweet, favorite, meme stuff)
