Also, wiki up ‘basic chests’ for another source of shards - there’s a couple of easy ones, like the one by Vale waypoint in Queeensdale. (proud owner of an ascended greatsword) ---

It’s a massive tree. I live in a townhouse, but the majority of the tree is in my yard and my neighbor doesn’t trim the tree and hates that someone is doing it too. DAMN IT. I hate those fuckhead losers with no school and no jobs\* who have nothing better to do than to drive their cars around the neighbourhood really fast late at night, making a lot of noise and endangering anyone walking/cycling outside. I also hate the fact that there’s really nothing I can do about it (my mother has tried phoning the police about them in the past, without much luck.) \*I assume they aren’t at school or working because they do this any night of the week, including nights when it’s a weekday the next day. ---

It sucks being stuck at 471 weaponsmithing! I don’t do jumping puzzles, for some verdampt reason I can’t jump for shit - I have the doubleclick turned off, and I dismiss the pets so they don’t get in the way of seeing what I am doing, and I use the speed mod that necros get. I have been crunching the luck so I am now up to 53% for magic drops which helps. I managed to get the whole [jotoros](http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Jatoro%27s_armor) in drops which amazed me. Right now all my weapons are exotic and I am thinking of making a complete set of [wupwup](http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Wupwup_weapons)- I normally do staff, trident, dagger and focus. I don’t seriously raid, I think I have burned out after 14 years of MMORPGs all I do is chip at bosses and do tradeskills and forage. ---

I was going to write a long-ass rant about the process of transferring from the CTA’s Chicago Card to Ventra, but you know what? Not worth it. I’ve already spent about 2 hours on hold, been dropped twice from the hold queue, been promised e-mailed passwords that don’t arrive, and been transferred for apparently no reason. So if they can cram several dozen Ventra cards up the least comfortable orifice, I’d greatly appreciate it. ---
