Because I didn’t realize I was out of my forum (I’d gotten cced on some discussion by the IMHO mods, so thought it was an MPSIMS thread). I’ll reopen on the basis of “not my call.” ---

Is it just a coincidence that “aye” and “yea” are anagrams? I suspect a conspiracy. At least “no” and “on” are proper opposites. I vote “eya”. ---

It still doesn’t make any sense at all to close it, as you indicate. If it was a post about The Amazing Race, it would have been moved to Cafe Society. If it was a post about the 2014 elections, it would have been moved to Elections. What is the justification for closing it if it had been in MPSIMS? ---

NO and ON are polar opposites even. If you turn ON upside down it says NO. That’s how you know which way a light switch gets installed (if you hold it upside down it says NO). ---

I closed it because the way I read **IdleThought** ’s mod note, he intended to close it – I thought I was implementing a decision that another mod had already made. Apparently I misinterpreted what he said, in addition to my being in the wrong forum. All in all, an object lesson on why modding goes better after the caffeine has fully kicked in. ---
