The origin of the White and Black Lodges is the book “The Devil’s Guard” by Talbot Mundy. Mark Frost also drew from a number of other mystical traditions including theosophy. Frost’s books “The List of 7” and “The 6 Messiahs” explore some of these mystic themes as well.
