I periodically wonder if Mike’s children, several of whom are involved in the business, have ever, you know, tried to talk dad out of putting himself in financial and legal jeopardy? Or are they fellow Kool-Aid drinkers? Because while various bankruptcy laws favor business to a large degree, I’m thinking there’s still going to be serious damage, even if, as suggested earlier in thread, major assets (such as the plane, etc) are being hidden from view. If I was one of those kids, I’d be looking at trying to have the man declared incompetent to manage himself (heck, I’d be framing him with [or confirming] his return to drug addiction ) to get him put away in rehab while quietly trying to settle with anyone I could, and simultaneously trying to woo back retailers. But then again, we haven’t yet seen numbers to confirm how much if anything Lindell’s crankery have actually cost MP. Inquiring minds want to know! ---
