Eh, every now and then you get a thread that plunges sharply down a good Rabbit Hole. And discussing the divergence between Judeo-Christian concepts of what are moral precepts about, is more edifying than going on about what some shredded foam peddler who claims to follow those precepts does to ruin his own business. ---

The account was banned because it spread misinformation about the election, hence being in the forum for elections. ---

Despite the still-fresh cautionary tale of Parler, there’s got to be a whole host of RW sorts slavering over the possibility of controlling and monetizing access to all 80M+ RW true believers. It’s a decent bet at least one of them will succeed. Though I have to wonder how they’ll fare when Trump hisself gets whatever he’s planning up and running. It’ll turn into a loyalty test; guys like Lindell can’t be claiming fealty to Trump while competing with him online. Nor will Trump reward competition to his own grifting. ---

That’s a good point. If Trump starts his on SM then one presume’s he won’t be active on others which will fracture their market (unless Trump’s version takes over and the other’s go away). The power of SM is the reach and if they’re fractured they won’t have as much power. ---
