Sheeess. Lindell destroyed his own lumpy pillow company. Just as if Trump kept under the radar, he could have still been stiffing contractors, and um… hookers. ---

This is so painful to watch. You see it every now and again in the DC social scene, insecure Mid-Western folks who don’t understand that Politicians glad-hand people for a living. They get a little positive attention from a famous pol, and think they are now running with the cool kids. The next thing you know, everything they ever built in their lives is at that politician’s beck and call. And the Republicans have no mercy, they are like locusts. They will even assign a staffer to identify and gobble up everything the person has to offer. Beautiful home? Hosting fundraisers. Successful business? Profits now go to SuperPAC donations. Club memberships? Make yourself obnoxious fundraising there until you are kicked out. Wife and kids? Exhaust them with volunteer time until they leave you. Some of the Dems do it too, of course, but there is more of a social stricture against it among Democrats, if only to keep milking the cow in the long run. At this point, Lindell is so deep into the sunk cost fallacy that his sanity is his final gift to Trump. ---

I think we can safely conclude by now that Mikey is _not_ the grifter, and is one of the biggest suckers in the world. He really, really, really believes that he is on a Mission From God to save the world. ---

I’m very much a night owl, and sometimes have the TV on when I’m at my computer late at night. There’s been quite an uptick in MyPillow ads recently. I just noticed something interesting in one of them. Lindell is hawking closeout prices on his bed sheets, and says they just received the last shipment. Really, Mike; shipment from where? I thought part of his schtick was that his products were creating American jobs. I wonder where those sheets are made. (As I’m typing this post, another of his ads is on. He seems desperate.) ---

I did a web search and found a cite that the sheets are made in Pakistan. They’re Egyptian cotton, but that’s the variety, not necessarily grown in Egypt. The ad came on again, and yes, he does brag about creating jobs in America. ---
