Well, I _do_ recall the MyPillow ads from back when in the mid 20teens and tbf remembering those it makes me kind of sad. He seemed to have built himself a nice business there, could have kept to it and had a fine life and retirement. But noooooo, he had to be on some sort of crusade… and then of course Trump came along and like too many others he got dragged down the hole. ---

Agreed. At one time he was a sort of a hero for setting up a factory near his home in Chaska Minnesota, and was even semi-seriously considered a contender in a run for Minnesota governor. You have to feel sorry for the workers at his factory, many of whom were ex-felons, who lost their jobs. ---

His marketing did seem to be able to persuade people to buy one or two to try them out, like me. Only I bought mine at BB&B (Bed Bath & Beyond) and was able to return it easily. ---

So, I went to the My Pillow site out of curiosity, and Cocaine Mike has started a non-pillow store - My Store, which carries a small selection of overpriced random stuff, most of it stupid. Here’s some of my favorites You can buy coffee from Mike, which is probably just like regular supermarket coffee except there’s an American flag on the bag and it’s way more expensive. On the other hand, I’m tempted because it might be super-potent, there’s been times when I’m really tired and I’ve thought I might like a taste of whatever Lindell is on. You can also by a cheap little piece of formed plastic, something that’s probably made in China for the cost of about 1000 pieces for a dollar, that’s marketed as a tick remover. I guess whenever you get a tick you slide it under the tick so you don’t have to use your fingers. It costs $20 but it has a picture of an eagle stamped on it. Catering to the same demographic, he’s also selling a kit that lets you make your own fake teeth to fill in the spaces left by your missing teeth. It costs $33 and it’s good for 15-20 teeth, so it’s only around $2 a tooth! Plus, if you have a promo code, something I assume you get from Rudy or Hannity, it’s only $22. This one is my favorite, a set of men’s hygiene products in the exclusive Patriot scent. True conservatives have a clean crisp scent with hints of orange, grapefruit and tiny hints of sage. I’m not sure why they feel they have to emphasis how tiny the hints of sage are. The brand is called Slappy’s and the kit……only $65! includes a product called, I kid you not, _Slappy’s Patriot Man Candle_. I’m guessing this isn’t the first thing Lindell has named “Slappy’s Patriot Man Candle”. Serious question: can judges prevent defendants from self-representing if they appear to be mentally unstable? I’m not sure Lindell would meet that threshold but I’m wondering if there’s a threshold at all (especially given the SovCit stuff already mentioned). ---

The funny thing is, and I note this only because it seems directly related to Mike’s garbage he’s trying to push (even as his financial world crumbles), but I’ve seen a lot of conservatives advertise all-natural organic stuff before. It seems like it should be anathema, but it isn’t. There is a lot of overlap between what people on the far right belief, and the conspiracies broadcast by alternative health advocates. Some of the hippiest of hippies I knew in the 20-oughts were anti-vax and also very liberal in terms of sexuality, racial equality and gender equality. Now they are rabid racists and anti-vax based n their Facebook posts. I’m talking about the Montessori School community we were part of when our kid was little. Most of them are Trumpies now. I think only one is not, and he’s the richest of the lot. He and his wife split up over her Q-Anon shit. ---
