The Pitt character is with them for a pretty short period of time – probably not more than 24 hours IIRC. (The title of the movie is also a big hint that it’s primarily about a female duo, not two women and a man.) The detective (Harvey Keitel) is a more significant character than the one played by Pitt, but while he’s sympathetic to Thelma and Louise he is on the other side of the law.

A lot of the examples being offered seem like people are just naming movies that have at least two female characters and at least one male character in them. Almost any movie would qualify under that standard.

It’s a fairly minor role, but not _that_ minor.

I stand corrected.

Youtube clips of his role are 4:10, meaning I greatly overstated how minor his role was. Still way too small to qualify for the thread, but much more than a glorified extra.

(Does that read as sarcasm? If so, that’s not the intent.)
