I’ve heard that one a lot. It’s the women I’ve heard complain, not the men. BTW; turned-on men are not the most reliable source of information. But I’m sure you know that. ---

Sometimes I cross my legs even when I’m not wearing a short skirt. Actually I’m not always hyper aware of crossing my legs even when I am wearing a short skirt, but then I do always wear undies. Anyway, I do think that turned on men are probably reliable about…well, being turned on. ---

Short skirts can be quite cute, but the silly shoes just look painful. And it means you can’t walk and make loud klack klack sounds when you’re in front of me on the stairs making me miss my train because you’re moving so slow because you can’t walk. ---

Well, to be fair, I don’t wear high heels all that often. And if I plan on doing a lot of walking I generally stick to flats or heels that aren’t uber high. My theory is–balance is sexy! Plus, I have confidence in my legs looking nice enough even without heels that I don’t really need them. ---

Heels don’t clack anymore. Unless the woman needs a cobbler. I will give mine up over my dead body. I’m so comfortable and feel so sexy in them, that I can’t imagine anyone finding them silly! I will wear heels when I absolutely have to, meaning for work or formal occasions, but my stumpy legs and I gave up on miniskirts long, long ago. I rarely wear skirts that end above the knee, on account of I’m very self-conscious about my thick, nearly translucently pale thighs. This is also why I refuse to wear shorts in public unless I’m at the beach or a pool, thus necessitating a cover-up over my swimsuit. ---

Heels don’t have to be uncomfortable if you buy the right size and styl I dress for me and only wear what I want to so I don’t see anything I wear as being mean to myself. How odd. ---

I’ve never understood how people dress “for themselves.” It’s like those people that say they don’t care what other people think, but are always polite, take baths, have jobs, etc. If you truly dress for yourself, you must have some odd outfits indeed. ---

I have a job because I like having a house, vacations, and nice things. I take baths because I don’t want to stink and be unhygienic. Would you really not bathe if society was fine with stinky people? Gross. For the most part I am polite because people don’t deserve to be treated badly for no reason. I love clothes so I pick out what _I_ like to wear. As far as odd outfits, I’m not sure I know what you mean. I mean, they’re probably odd to a guy who wants to be stinky in his innermost fantasies, but not so odd to someone who likes clothes. ---

The only thing that makes me wince is when women are clearly uncomfortable in their heels. They’ll take these tiny steps where they’re almost marching on the spot, they won’t unbend their knees, and their balance is off. It looks incredibly painful and awkward. As a short-legged woman I love the look of high heels but I’m not great at walking in them so I stick to flats or low heels. When I see women striding along in sky-high stilettos I am consumed with envy. ---

I live in a culture where _everyone_ wears heels. I swear to god, I even saw a woman wearing heels at the Everest Base Camp. I have seen police women in heels. I see people in gyms in heels. I think it’s sick. Heels hurt. Maybe after some years you destroy the nerves in your feet. But I’ve tried. Cheap heels, expensive heels, whatever. After maybe an hour they start to hurt with every step. And I can see it on people’s faces. I can see it in the tiny hobbled steps people take? What is sexy about a woman who is hurting?
