I think the name was in reference to a Onion article. ---

When I clicked the link to read the story, I spotted various other animal-related links at the bottom. Clicking one brought me to [this story](http://blogs.phillyburbs.com/news/bcct/second-woman-reports-turkey-attack/) - the headline of which had me cracking up: **Second woman reports turkey attack** So this isn’t the first time there’s been a turkey attack. I actually dislike pigeons so much that I’ve been known to chase away mourning doves for the sheer pleasure of it. Trafalgar Square, blue leisure suit, 1976. ---

I pretty much despise them myself. But even so, I would never torture one for the amusement of it. Nor would I even set up to kill off as many as I could with a pellet gun. That would be as futile as trying to empty an ocean with a teaspoon. I would have no issues with watching a cat stalk and kill a few. After all, cats are cats and they get hungry too. ---
