Both quite reasonable, IMO, and calculated to raise the tone and value of these boards. Kudoes to all involved. Your post, however, seems calculated to do the opposite. I have no complaints about the actions, but I don’t see the benefit of publicly revelling in them. ---

Sort of. Except the 2nd mod note could have been given last year, the year before, the year before that… Are we to understand that _this time they really mean it?_ **TroutMan** : I didn’t see any “revelling”? Can you quote the part you think is reveling? ---

**John Mace** , what do you see as the purpose of Shodan’s post? I don’t see it as important information for board members. People who care probably saw the original mod actions. I think Shodan is happy this happened and wanted to rub it in a little. YMMV. ---

Actually one is suspended, the other one is not. It’s really not appropriate to make these kinds of comments in About This Message Board anyway. If you have a problem with another poster, you need to take it to the Pit.
