My brother has the USB hub. It’s pretty neato. Lights and sounds and everything. ---

If you plug and unplug items a lot I could see how it could be annoying, but if you just plug something in every now and again it seems kind of cool. ---

I also own the USB hub and I love it. I don’t use it a lot so it hasn’t gotten annoying. ---

You can also get a [real Tardis](http://gallifreynewsbase.blogspot.com/2010/06/tardis-up-for-auction.html), if you can come up with enough money. Well, not a real real Tardis, but a real fake one. They will also be auctioning off what may be the oldest surviving Dalek, although sadly it does not seem to be in good condition. ---

Years ago I had a super geeky fantasy. Own a house with a basement and in the basement would be a TARDIS control panel like the fifth Doctor had [here](http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/File:DoctorsTARDIS-Fifth.png). But it wouldn’t be just for decoration. One side of the control panel would have switches to control all the lights in the house. Another could control the TV and stereo equipment. And the others would control other electronic or mechanical devices in the house. And the monitor of course would be hooked up to surveillance cameras. ---
