Now who writes for both comic books and tv? Alan Moore was my first thought, but I can’t think of any tv he’s ever written. Jeph Loeb was next, but he doesn’t seem like the fuck off type. I’m stumped, who was it? (Scott Adams also came to mind but I figure you’d have said comic _strip_ instead of book, and he also doesn’t seem a likely candidate for fuck off.) ---

I actually shut down a state’s DMV for week to fix some servers. My hat is white, and restoring from tape sucks. Sorry about your former friend, hopefully his actions weren’t intentionally harmful. ---

I wanted to tell him how much his writing has meant to me over the years, and the words “I grew up on _Murder, She Wrote_” were out of my mouth before I realized what I was (also) saying. 🙂 So the “fuck off” were not (hopefully!) entirely serious! ---

In the spirit of the OP, there are no technicalities in this group. The technicalities are for explanatory flavor. 1. I once won second place in a national martial arts tournament. (Sparring competition, specific age and weight class.) 2. I once won second place in a regional drag race. (On a professional track, in DOT class for ordinary, non-modified cars.) 3. I once won second place in a local beauty contest. (It was the county fair, and I still have the trophy.) ---

Just finished the PBA Senior US Open (and bowled in it last year as well.) 1 is true–it was Karen Allen from _Raiders_ . 3 is the lie, though a guy I graduated HS with became a mob lawyer.
