Al Bundy and Jay Pritchett. Ed O’Neil is essentially playing the same character in Modern Family: older guy, hot young wife, big house, only this time he’s happy and loves his wife. I never bought it when people came over to the Bundy’s and complained about what a terrible life they had. They lived in Chicago in a 2 story house on one income.
