@Mahaloth , pretty much the same, yes. Note, however, that there are no peanut or almond Smarties. Only candy-coated chocolate ones. ---

Yes. I prefer Smarties, but that is entirely due to my upbringing. MnMs have a biscuit center, while Smarties are cheap chocolate? I think that that is the difference. ---

Not traditional M&M’s: the versions that have been around for decades are either just a milk chocolate center, or a chocolate-and-peanut center. In recent decades, they’ve also introduced other variations, all with the same basic structure of some inner bit covered with chocolate and a candy shell: pretzel, peanut butter, crunchy cookie, etc. AFAIK, every variation of M&M’s always retains the chocolate, and the hard candy coating. ---

Smarties are milk chocolate, but a different recipe/type of chocolate to M&Ms. Also: the orange-coloured smarties have orange flavouring in the chocolate. ---

As others have said, the logo is almost certainly hand drawn. The two “S”s in the word are different, and not in a way explained by capital vs lowercase. However, I’m curious about how you’ll be producing the costume. You mentioned 3D printing. Details! And if you can use the real logo, instead of a “close” font, it would be a kindness to the visually sensitive population — perhaps including your wife. (I bought a car at a Toyota dealer that hung locally-produced logos on their showroom wall — possibly made of painted wood. They got the proportions wrong, and it was disturbing to see.
