President Aquino, a member of the powerful Aquino clan of course, is blaming any- and everything that’s gone wrong on the local government, which is controlled by their old rivals, the Marcos clan. (Remember Ferdinand Marcos? And apparently Imelda, while born in Manila, was raised in Tacloban.) And the Marcoses, naturally, are blaming the national government.

looks like google maps updated their overhead views of the phillipines, you can see alot of obvious damage even with the rather poor image quality.
