There are women I’ve been with for whom “having one” is like having one M&M–it just isn’t done. To extend the analogy, women probably know they’re done the same way they know their done eating a snack food–they’ve had enough for now. Some folks can stop at one oreo, some go through half the bag. Am I right, ladies? Or is it uncommon for women to go for multiple orgasms \*sans \*partner, even when they usually have them during partnersex? ---

If I’m commuting, I try to make it a quick one because I can’t change the radio station during that time, right hand is occupied. When I’m at a football game, I also try to keep it quick because frankly, people don’t approve. Usually I do it when everyone is on their feet during an exciting time. F here. The “snack food” analogy is a pretty good one, at least for me, although it’s not so much that _I_ decide when I’m done, as my, um, bits decide. (I guess that would be the equivalent of feeling full after eating some Oreos.) It’s sort of like I check in with my clit: “We done here yet? No? Okay. _time passes, happiness ensues_ How 'bout now? Got one more in ya? Yes? Okay. _time passes, more happiness ensues_ Had enough? Yes? Okay, let’s go wash up and get a snack.” ---

Having tried (call it unemployment compensation! :)) I can tell you that “indefinitely” is not an option. Things just sort of stop responding after a while. The value of “a while” is, however, highly variable. There have been times when I planned to rub one out real quick and wound up rubbing out three or four, and there have been times when I couldn’t even get to one and gave up. The little bald lady in the canoe has a mind of her own about these matters. ---

I get pretty in to it. I have a list of typical things I fantasize about and sometimes midway I’ll switch to something else and then I want to start over and feel like I’ve spent the full time on that. It also helps the distance if I try to hold back and build up, sort of like a dam breaking ---

I wasn’t strictly talking about the female capacity for multiple orgasms. I think that women are more capable of contributing to the intensity of an orgasm achieved through masturbation. Judging by my own experience, marginal product of wank becomes negative after about five minutes, because maintaining the erection itself takes a good bit of friction and forearm strength. For the female, marginal product of wank continues to be positive longer, because arousal is less labor intensive. ---
