Flip. Type your text into the box that says “Original”. Characters which resemble upside down text will appear in the “Flipped” box. Copy and then paste where desired.

Well, I guess I’m not that special after all. Most people can either do it seemlessly, or at least with minimal effort.

And, yes, I used a tool to do that. Sorry that it only works perfectly in certain fonts, like the one used in the title.

Being able to read upside down has an advantage when dealing with people who are filling out forms and asking you the questions.

Recently, I had to deal with a lawyer that was reading the questions on a form and he started asking questions that didn’t pertain to the form. When I refused to answer the question, he would repeat it and look right at me while waiting for the answer.

He finally asked me why I was refusing to answer the question, I replied that the question was not on the form and had nothing to do with the case. He gave me a puzzled look and asked how did I know the question wasn’t there and I told him that I could read everything upside down just as easily as if it was turned towards me.
Also, told him that I was able to read the files he had open for other clients just as easy. He immediately cleared off his desk and just stuck with the questions on the form!

As with other teachers, it’s a necessary skill. Although I must say, it’s harder for me to do, or I guess I’m slower at it, since the chemo. One of the lovely left-overs of hard drugs.

I just put the upside-down text of the thread’s title into that page and it flipped it back right-side up! (Except for the l’s. For some reason it left the l’s. )
