A continuation of [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=441644&page=31) game.

The Rules (stolen from **Elindil’s Heir** ):

Ask about any person, place, thing or event since 1492. You must completely rely on your own memory - you can’t consult any book, teh internets, or ask someone else, either in formulating or answering a question. Number your question(s) (no more than five at a time, please), sequentially after those which came before. You can’t post questions of your own until you’ve correctly answered at least one earlier question.

1. This serial killer operated a hotel in 1890s Chicago.
2. This man went on the run with John Wilkes Booth after Lincoln’s assassination.
3. The Fox sisters claimed to communicate with a ghost whom they nicknamed \_\_\_
4. Andrew Johnson’s dismissal of \_\_\_\_\_ was the final straw that caused him to be impeached.
5. This murdered architect was known for having a red velvet swing.
