As I write, U2 just appeared as the musical guest on _Saturday Night Live_, and the show ended smashingly with the band playing out the final credits with Bono and The Edge wandering among the cameras and the audience.

Then as the last credits rolled, they appeared to begin an unprecedented _fourth_ number. I was silently praying to the NBC master control people to please continue the show a few minutes past ninety. But they didn’t.

My question: I understand that people with satellite dishes can get the unedited network feed from the east coast to the west coast. Did the feed have the fourth number? What was the song?
