The stat was xG conceded. Also I think top on crosses into their own box. But that was earlier in the tournament and their opponents were mostly happy to sit back. ---

xG conceded is the logical stat (are there similar stats that take into account blocked shots or other dangers that don’t show up in xG?). If someone claimed a team was best defensively because of corners given up then they’re arguing in bad faith ---

England were terrible, again, in first half. Slovakia didn’t have much to invest and defend to be in the lead. Reminds me so far of the Switzerland-Italy game from yesterday. ---
