There is no hard,believeable evidence for Aliens visiting the Earth. THis PROVES then that there must be a wide ranging coverup that goes all the way to the top. There would be no point whatsoever in arranging a coverup of this magnitude if there was nothing to coverup. So this proves beyond all doubt that there are aliens amongst us. Apart from that I must have been kidnapped by other worldly beings because I have no recollection of the event ever happening and lets face it Earthly science is not advanced enough to induce amnesia in a human being with that degree of sophistication. The only logical conclusion is that it must have been performed by a much superior civilisation then the one us Earthlings have. Yet more proof as if we needed it. ---

I like the show. I like the new guy, who seems VERY skeptical. They need someone like that around. Thereā€™s not a lot of conspiracy/coverup stuff, either. Instead they interview lots of witnesses who are credible, like military and law enforcement. I still highly doubt we are being visited regularly by aliens who refuse to communicate with us. ---

You know is a very small (really really really small) chance that a very small number of sightings are of actual alien craft. But Iā€™m going to argue that they may in fact be _unmanned_ craft. Much like our Predator Drones. Theyā€™re sitting on planet Whatever and see that our planet looks promising for life and send drones to check us out. However I donā€™t think itā€™s at all likely. ---

It annoys me to no end that this sort of drivel is taking over the History Channel. UFO Hunters, Monster Hunters, Axe Men, Ice Road Truckersā€¦ Canā€™t A&E (isnā€™t that who owns History?) make a new channel for Pseudoscience/Macho Professions Reality shows and give us back our Hitler Channel? ---

For about ten years from the early 90s, popular culture more or less strip-mined UFO mythology for ideas for movies and TV shows ā€“ thereā€™s nothing new left to dig up. Once the Grand Government Conspiracy becomes the basis for Saturday morning cartoons, it becomes a little harder to take it seriously. Things seem at a pretty low ebb in the UFO field just now ā€“ UFO magazines are folding, and the discussion seems to have retreated to the internet where the same old names go over old ground and rehash old arguments. Itā€™ll be a few years yet, I think, before enough new ideas emerge to sustain another round of ā€œFinally: The Truth!ā€ paperbacks for the next generation of TV and movie writers to steal from.
